"Lets Talk Screening" - Protected Learning Event 1st May 2018

The Learning Outcomes of this event were:

1. GPs and Practice Nurses (PNs) to develop their knowledge and understanding of the UK cancer screening programmes

2. GPs & PNs to increase awareness of barriers to screening and of methods of breaking barriers down

3. GPs & PNs to learn about the NHS Bowel Screening Programme and how to use the FOBT

4. GPS & PNs to enhance their knowledge of the role of screening hubs

• Support cancer prevention and promote healthy lifestyles
• Increase informed uptake of screening programmes
• Improve recognition and referral of symptomatic cancers
