The course offers a range of outcomes, Looking to:

Improve community based workforce knowledge of cancer prevention, awareness and early diagnosis e.g. signs, symptoms, screening
Develop participants understanding of cancer as a long term condition
Develop participants skills around talking about cancer and talking to people who have experience of cancer (listening and responding)
Provide space to explore participants personal experience of cancer and how this relates to their professional experience
Provide information / signpost to a range of local services - e.g. Cancer Support Centre, Cavendish Centre, SOHAS, Age UK & Active Everyday
Identify opportunities to improve community level of knowledge around cancer
Explore how to develop and sustain workforce knowledge around cancer - gain ideas and feedback from participants
