Aim of this PLI was to:

Deliver to health professionals relevant information to increase their knowledge and competence at dealing with safeguarding issues.

Learning Objectives:

Following this event you should gain knowledge and understanding in the following areas:

Objective 1: Recognise the different categories of Fabricated and Induced illness, their management and the Sheffield Picture.

Objective 2: Drug and alcohol related issues in the city and how to apply the Alcohol Screening tool in Practice (Workshop1)

Objective 3: Your role and responsibilities towards the ‘Looked after child’ and those leaving the care system (Workshop2)

Objective 4: Recognising self-neglect, how to respond and how to seek support. (Workshop 3)
